Anatomy

Some great online tools are available to study Anatomy online.

Biodigital.com offers a premium tool to view 3D models. However, you may find it too heavy to share with all your students if your Internet access is not really fast. Also, a login is required – even if you can login with a Google or Facebook account – and you will not be able to share a specific part of the body.

InnerBody.com is not a premium tool but is enough for most needs. You will not require a login and you will be able to share a specific part of the human body: what you share is what you see. On the downside, the tool is not ad-free, and social buttons can distract students as they may want to click on Facebook or Twitter instead of viewing the anatomy.

To share a specific part of the anatomy:

    1. Open InnerBody.com and navigate to the part of the anatomy you want to share
    2. Share and your students will see the same part of the anatomy

You can use Google Chrome, Classroom Browser or other to share to classroom.
